Legal Assistance During State Inspections in Moldova

In the Republic of Moldova, businesses may be visited by various authorities with control powers — tax inspectorate, consumer-protection bodies, sanitary, labour and environmental supervisors, among others. Whatever the institution, an inspection follows procedural rules, and the inspectors' compliance with those rules matters as much as your own obligations.

Legal assistance means you do not face the inspection alone. We check the legal basis of the visit, the inspectors' authorization and its scope, explain which documents you must produce and what rights you have, and make sure your observations are properly recorded in the inspection report.

We begin with a confidential consultation to map the situation: which authority is involved, what has been communicated and at what stage you are. If an inspection is planned or there is time before it, we prepare your documentation and brief your team on how to interact with inspectors.

During the inspection we can attend in person or stay available remotely to react quickly. Once the inspection ends, we review the report issued and decide together whether there are grounds for an administrative complaint or a challenge before the administrative court.

Fees depend on the complexity of the inspection, the authority involved and the volume of documents. On-site assistance may be charged per session or per hour, while preparation and challenging an inspection report carry a separate fee, agreed before work begins.
